Construction Chicks
Why we exist
Construction can be isolating - especially for women.
We're often the only woman on site, in the meeting, or in the training room. Construction Chicks™ was created to change that.
This community exists to:
Connect women across trades, design, building, and consulting
Create a supportive network where collaboration replaces competition
Offer real opportunities for learning, visibility, and leadership
Amplify women's voices in a traditionally male-dominated industry
It's grassroots, warm, real and needed.
The Vision
Where we’re heading
Right now, Construction Chicks™ is a simple community where women can connect.
Over the next few years, it will grow into something much bigger.

Founder’s Story
It started after one lunch that changed everything.
At a Women in Construction networking lunch, I met dozens of incredible women - smart, driven, passionate. All saying the same thing: "I don't know many other women in construction."
On the way home, I realised something powerful: women in construction aren't short of ambition or skill, we're short of connection.
So I started a WhatsApp group. Within hours it filled with energy, collaboration, and generosity. That was the moment Construction Chicks™ needed to become something bigger.Annie Scog

If you're a woman in construction
You're welcome here.
The MBA NSW FLORENCE Luncheon is one of my favourite events in the industry - held three times a year, it brings together a room full of brilliant women in construction, connecting, laughing and backing each other. I make it a point to attend every single one.
This is exactly the energy Construction Chicks™ is here to grow.
If you haven't been, get yourself a ticket, you won't regret it."
Whether you're on the tools, in design, in a consulting role, or leading a building company, this community is for you.
